  • By air:
You can flight to Granada airport from Madrid and Barcelona with IBERIA. The airport is about 17 km from the town centre. At the exit of the airport you will find several busses that take you to Granada city centre for about 3 €. If you take the bus, you should get off at the stop "Gran Vía de Colón" (very close to the Cathedral).

From there, there is a ~20 min. of a nice walk to either residencia "Carmen de la Victoria" or "Corrala de Santiago". In the airport you can also take a taxi to any of the residencias, which will cost you about 25-30 € (this is the fastest way). The other nearest airport is Málaga. Once there, take the city bus, local train (~2 €) or a taxi to the main bus station (the airport is 10 km away from the town). There are regular buses connecting Málaga-Granada, approx. one per hour, the last one leaves at 21:00. The trip by bus takes about 1h45 and costs about 10 €.

  • By bus:
Granada is very well connected by bus with the main towns in the south of Spain and Madrid. The trip Marid-Granada (from the South Bus Station) by bus takes 5 hours and costs about 12 €.

  • By train:
The train from Madrid takes 5 hours and from Barcelona 12 hours (overnight train). Note that trains are expensive in Spain. You can find information about time tables and prices here.
